In an effort to keep the seminar as engaging as possible, the seminars take a particular format. The first 15 minutes of each talk will be a pedagogical introduction to the ideas of the talk, accessible to nonspecialist graduate student. This is followed by 5 minutes for question. The remaining 40 minutes are for the specialist material.
The specialist material will be one of the following
Discussion of recent or in-progress research results
Presentation of some more standard technical material of interest
